Song
Zhou, male, was born in Guilin 1971. Song Zhou was graduated
from Teacher’s University of Guangxi
Zhuang Autonomous Region as a student
of Traditional
Chinese Painting, Fine Arts
Department in 1993. And in
1996, he finished his studies in
Traditional Chinese
Painting from Chinese Fine Arts
College. Now he is a
member ofChinese Artists Association,
of Chinese
Calligraphy Association. At the same
time, he is the
General Secretary ofGuilin Chinese
Art Academy, Deputy
Director of Guilin Chinese Painting,
Deputy General
Secretary of GuilinCalligraphy
Association. He is
specially hired artist of Guilin Art
Academy and Calligraphy and Arts Academy ofGuangxi.
Main activities:
His works was
exhibited in The 7th National Calligraphy Seal
Cutting Works of the Youth and Middle -Aged Exhibition in
1997.
His works was
exhibited in The 4th Promising Artist of
Calligraphiers’ Circles Exhibition in 1998
Won Special Award in
The Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the
Founding of People’s Republic of China held by Guangxi zhuang
Autonomous Region in 1999.
He won an Outstanding
Prize in the 9th National Fine Arts Works
Exhibition in 1999.
He was awarded Golden
Prize in the 4th Chinese Nationalities’ Fine Arts
Works Exhibition in 1999.
In 2000, he got
nomination prize in the 1st Golden Ball Prize of
Chinese Fine Arts.

Founding of Chinese Communist Party.
In 2001, he got a
silver medal in Sino-Japan Forest, Water and Man Fine Arts
Works Exhibition. And he was invited to visit Japan to
undertake cultural exchange.
In 2002, his works was
exhibited in the National Fine Arts Works Exhibition to
commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Talks.
In 2003, his works was
displayed in the 2nd National Arts Academy’s
Biyearly Exhibition.
In 2003, his works was
displayed in the 10th National Waters and landscape
Painting Exhibition of the West.
In 2004, his works was
showed in the 10th National Fine Arts Works
Exhibition, and was awarded the First Prize of Guangxi Fine
Arts Works.
In 2003, his works was
exhibited in the National Fine Arts Works Exhibition to
commemorate Deng Xiaoping’s Birthday Anniversary.
