Born in Yangshuo,Guilin in 1951
Graduated from Guangzhou College of Arts.
He is now member of China's Arts Association, academician of Guangxi Academy of Painting, national artist of the second class.
Many works of him have been sent to the five sister cities in Japan, New Zealand, Canada to be consistently hung on the wall of the town halls.
The brief biography of Xu's art experience has been recorded in the 8 books including Name List of Contemporary Chinese Artists, Contemporary Famous Artists of Calligraphy and Painting in the World.
In 2000,his painting Go to A Fair Out of Mountains attended China's Custom of the Century Exhibition held by China Artists Association.Also in 2000, this painting attended Brightness of Century in China ,the Nomination Exhibition of Chinese Traditional Painting held by the Ministry of Culture of the State Council and China Artists Association.
In 1998, he was invited to hold his solo exhibition in Taiwan, China. His large painting Living in the Northern Mountain of Guangxi（18m×2.4m）was regarded as the best reflection of the scenery in northern Guangxi.
In 1998,his painting Life of Calligraphy and Painting was shown in the National Exhibition of
Traditional Chinese Mountains-and-Waters Painting and Landscape Oil Painting held by the Ministry of Culture of the State Council. And it was selected to be published in the work collection.
In 1997,his painting Living in the Northern Mountain of Guangxi attended Worldwide Chinese Painting Exhibition, and got certificates given by China Artists Association, the Art Institute of Ministry of Culture of the State Council, and the Institute of Chinese Traditional Painting.
And the painting was selected into the Work Collection of the Exhibition.
In 1997, he attended China's Painting Exhibition of Arts Circle, and won a medal and certificate of 100 Outstanding Artists in National Arts Circle given by China's Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and China Artists Association. His paintings were selected and published in Work Collection of 100 Outstanding Artists in National Arts Circle.
From 1996 to 1997,his paintings were shown in Guangxi Art Exhibition and won the winning prize.
In 1996,his paintings were selected and shown in New York. And in this year, he attended Beijing International Art Exhibition.
In 1995,his paintings were invited to attend the National Exhibition of Famous Painters of Mountains-and-Waters. Also in this year, his paintings were selected and sent to the first National Exhibition of Mountains-and-Waters Painting held in Sydney, Australia by China Artists Association.
In 1995,4 of his paintings were selected to be shown in the 10th National Exhibition of New Artist, and got the certificates given by China Artists Association.
In 1994,his painting Living in the Northern Mountain of Guangxi was selected into the National Arts Exhibition of the year, and won the 3d prize of Guangxi Arts Exhibition. Also in 1994,his paintings were selected and sent to the first National Winning Work Exhibition of Mountains-and-Waters Painting in New York, U.S.A. by China Artists Association .16 of his paintings have been collected by many presses and national art departments.
In 1994, his art experience was recorded into Who's Who in the World, and he was given a medal of that by International Biographical Center, Cambridge, England. He also received Accomplishment Medal of the 20th Century and Certificate For World VIP.
In 1993, American Biographical Institute recorded him in Who's Who in the World and gave him Certificates of Outstanding People, Special Commitment People in the World, and Gold Key Medal in the World.
In 1993,his works were selected into the 1st National Exhibition of Traditional Mountains-and-Waters Painting, got the certificate given by China Artists Association.
Also in 1993, he received the certificate of art VIP given by the joint arts groups from 11 countries including U.S.A.,U.K. Japan, and so on..
In 1992, he was invited to hold Exhibition of Xu Jiajue's Chinese traditional painting of Mountains and Waters for the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of Friendship between China and Japan in Hiroshima and NagoYa, Japan. It was specially reported by Japanese Manichi Daily News, Northern Japan News, China Report and Xinyan Daily.
In 1990,he was invited to hold Xu Jiajue's Painting Exhibition in TaKaoKa,Japan.
In 1986, he was invited to hole painting exhibitions in Beijing, Jingde Town in Jiangxi province, Pingxiang and Guilin.
In 1983,he won the 3d prize of the National Arts Exhibition for Staff, and winning prize of Guangxi.
Since 1978, he has been attending painting exhibitions of national and above civic levels for 81 times, and has won awards for 39 times. Also, he has held his solo exhibitions abroad for 5 times.
