Jin MoRu
Mr. Jin Moru, born in 1938, Beijing, is the
descendance of the Qing Royalty (Aixinjueluo). He collected
and treasured various calligraphies, paintings and antiquities
in his home, which are full of beautiful things in eyes.
Therefore, he has been greatly edified by the good traditions,
and he laid solid foundation of arts by benefiting from it.
Later he began learning from the ancient drawing model books,
studying the inscriptions on a tablet and the model
calligraphy, observing them and getting them proved on the
natural creatures, which are sought in the real life.
Gradually
he mastered the rules and regulations of
drawing under the supervision of Mr. Wang Xuetao. Through
practice, he achieved significance achievement. And now he is
eminent in the Xutao School.
However, he would not stop his learning because of the
achievement, during the practice, he is plucky enough to break
through the old rules of drawing, and chooses various themes,
which people love, to create. His works is novel and full of
its unique characters, because before he draws, he always
conceives carefully and then lays everything out perfectly
with a broad aesthetic horizon. Many of his excellent works,
whatever it is sketch or large picture, expresses meaningful
artistic space conception. The conception and the art of
composition are precise, marvellous and dense. They are novel,
concise because they are neatly arranged. As to the
manipulation of brush and ink, he combines them with firmness
and flexibility, fully expresses the object’s look and the
spirit. Its artistic terminology is clear and enchanting.
